Dr. Miguel Dominguez has been practicing Interventional Pain Medicine Since 1992. He is board certified in Pain Medicine (ABPM), Interventional Pain Medicine (ASIPP) and Anesthesiology (ABA). He is the Founder, President, and Medical Director for American Pain Institute.
Dr. Dominguez is a graduate of the world renowned University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Pain Fellowship at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Dominguez is a member of various pain societies including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), California Medical Association (CMA), the World Institute of Pain and is a fellow of Interventional Pain Practice through the World Institute of Pain, the only global certifying organization that tests the ability to perform interventional pain procedures.
Dr. Dominguez is a Surveyor for the Ambulatory Accreditation Program in California that is administered by The Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ).
Dr. Dominguez is a leader in the field of Interventional Pain Medicine and is continually attending educational seminars and cadaver labs to stay up to date with the most state of the art treatment for pain. Additionally, Dr. Dominguez speaks nationally and internationally as an expert on topics related to pain medicine.
